Dental trigger-event intelligence
Something in your territory just changed.
Toothachey watches every dental practice in your states and sends you what changed last week. Ownership, openings, hires, listings, ratings, tech. Every row carries the public record that proves it.
No card. One real week, one state. If it is thin, we say so.

Why this does not already exist
Everyone sells you the list. Nobody sells you the change.
There are three ways to learn about a dental practice today, and not one of them tells a rep what happened in their counties last week.
Contact databases
Orbital, Cognism, the dentist email lists
Gives you: Who exists, and their phone number.
Does not: Not what changed. A record refreshed quarterly cannot tell you the practice on Range Line Road sold three weeks ago.
Free industry news
Becker's, Group Dentistry Now
Gives you: The deals big enough to write about.
Does not: National and selective. Your four states are a paragraph a month, and the four-operatory practice that just changed hands never makes it in.
Enterprise health data
Definitive Healthcare, Trella
Gives you: Deep coverage of hospitals and post-acute networks.
Does not: Around $25,000 a year for five seats, and dentistry is a rounding error in it.
Toothachey is the fourth thing: a short weekly file of what actually changed in the states you sell into, verified by a person before it ships, at a price a territory rep can put on a personal card.
The product
This is the whole thing. It is a file.
No dashboard to learn, no seats to provision, no implementation. Monday morning you get the rows for your states, sorted by score, each with the public record it came from.

Real files name the practice and link the record. These are masked because this is a public page.
Seven event types
Every one of them is somebody's buying window.
A signal is only worth money to the person whose job it maps onto. The file carries all seven and the score tells you which to work first.
The practice is on the market.
A listing appears on a broker or business-for-sale site.
Broker listings, business-for-sale marketplaces
Somebody new is signing the checks.
New owner, DSO acquisition, or a name change on the practice record.
State filings, dental board records, the practice's own site
A practice exists this week that did not exist last week.
A location with no prior record appears, cross-checked against license issuance.
Dental board license issuance, new business filings, map listings
A dentist is joining the practice.
A new name on the team page, or an associate role posted.
Practice team pages, job postings
They are short-staffed and hiring right now.
An open hygienist role posted in the last seven days.
Job boards, practice career pages
They rebuilt the site or swapped a system.
A change in the practice site's own markup: new booking widget, new PMS, full rebuild.
The practice website's public markup
Their rating is falling and they know it.
Rating or review velocity drops sharply against the previous observation.
Public review counts and ratings, tracked over time
The part nobody else publishes
A signal you cannot check is not worth selling.
Verification is the product. Here is the standard, in full, including the parts that make us slower than a scraper.
01
Every row has a working public source link
You click it and you read the filing, the licence record, the posting, or the listing yourself. If we cannot link it, we do not ship it.
02
A person checks it before it ships
For the first four weeks of any territory, every single row is opened and confirmed. After that, every for-sale and every ownership change stays fully checked, plus a random fifth of everything else.
03
A first sighting is never a signal
Rating collapses and tech changes only mean something against a previous observation, so we hold a roster and compare. Noticing a practice for the first time is not news.
04
A thin week is reported as a thin week
Quiet territories exist. We will tell you your county was quiet rather than padding the file with rows scored 31.
Coverage
You buy your states, not a national dump.
About 148,010 practices across the country, and you care about the ones inside your patch. Pick a state to see where it stands.
The arithmetic
One fit-out commission covers thirty months of this.
Those are the published economics of the channel you already work in, not our numbers. The calculator below uses the same figures, so you can check the headline against it.
525
DSO transactions in the trailing twelve months. Each one changes a buyer.
Becker's Dental Review ↗The arithmetic, using your numbers
You earn per fit-out
$9,000
Territory costs a year
$3,588
Months one covers
30
One fit-out a year covers it, with $5,412 left over.
We are not projecting how many you will win. That is your close rate on your territory. This only shows how much of one commission the subscription costs.
Six ways to use the same file
A broker and a lab are not buying the same thing.
The rows are identical. Which rows matter is not. Pick the one that describes your week.
Equipment reps
Be the first rep through the door of a practice that does not exist yet.
Practice brokers
Reach the owner before the listing exists.
DSO development
Your pipeline is a public record you are not reading.
Dental labs
New dentists choose a lab in their first month and keep it for years.
Staffing agencies
A posted hygienist role is a buying window measured in days.
Marketing agencies
Call the practice that already knows it has a problem.
Pricing
Published, because hiding it is a tell.
Every incumbent in this category makes you book a call to learn the price. Here is ours.
Scout
$149/mo
1 state
One rep, one state, testing whether this is real.
Territory
Most take this$299/mo
Up to 3 states
A rep or a small team covering a real patch.
Exclusive
$699/mo
1 state, locked
One company that wants the state to itself.
No annual contract
Month to month, always. If the file stops being worth $299 you should stop paying for it that month.
No seat minimums
One person or ten, the price is the price. We are selling a file, not logins.
No implementation fee
There is nothing to implement. The first file arrives the Monday after you order.
No discounting
The list price is the price everyone pays. What you get instead is the first week free, before you enter a card.
Find the ache.
Tell us one state. We will send you one real week of it, free, with every source link live. Read it, click three rows at random, and decide from there.
